This afternoon at 3:00 we recieved the call that Jenny, our birth mom was in labor; her water had broke. William was not scheduled to make his arrival into this world until May 22nd, when he would be delivered by C-section. However, he had different plans. He decided that today was the day he would make his grand entrance and he did just that at 7:05 p.m.!
Because his birth was at 10:05 p.m. in Virginia we were not able to talk to Jenny or her family to find out all of Williams statistics. We will call first thing in the morning. We have little else in the way of information except for the call to get there fast!
Darren spent the rest of the afternoon changing our flights, our car rental and our hotel plans. So far, everything is going smoothly and we are scheduled to fly out tomorrow at 1:45 p.m. We will arrive in Portsmouth Virginia at 11:50 p.m.
There is so much that is unknown before us, but we look forward to meeting out sweet little boy.
To holding him and kissing him and welcoming him into our eager family.
